"In the beginning, there was a worm. The worm crawled out upon a hill into the sun. Soon he was spotted by a bluejay and eaten."

About me:

In my view, creation is the sole reason to live. Or in other words, striving to create a legacy. This can be done either by making children or making art. Man desires to immortalize himself. I am influenced muscially by The Beach Boys, Shinsei Kamattechan, John Lennon, David Bowie, Melvins, Country Teasers, Flipper, The Residents, and most importantly,
Weezer.

I enjoy a wide range of music but am particularly drawn to dissonant, weird, beautiful, and generally happy music. The worst thing music can be is boring.

My favourite colour is Red, it is a very striking color to me and I feel it always sits a bit behind people's consciousness.

My favourite flower is the bleeding heart (Lamprocapnos) which is featured below.

About The Oil Cavern Corporation:

The Oil Cavern Corporation is everything that I do, this is because I am the president, I'm also the only member. With this, I get to play at having my own little record company, website, and other things and I get to act like a little corporation. Aside from being a pretty blatant copy of the concept of the Kyou System (someone I used to greatly admire) I believe the Oil Cavern idea to be pretty endearing.

I wanted the name to be mechanical and nasty, to reflect my ideal artistic output. My idea of what the Oil Cavern Co. represents is a naked man alone in a cave. The man is compelled to make light so he can leave the cave; he attempts to start a fire by banging rocks together. Unfortunatlely the whole cavern is covered from wall to wall in oil. You can imagine what might happen if he finally made a spark. Well anyways, he's stuck there banging rocks together in this dank wet hole. This represents my artistic process. I'm not sure what the inevitable ensuing fire would represent. The symbol for the Oil Cavern Corporation is a bucket of oil being spilt, it also looks a bit like a hand.
